01. Agreement and publisher
These terms govern your use of RideWeave and this website, provided by Syscake S.r.l., Via Quinto Novio 44, 00175 Rome (RM), Italy · VAT / P. IVA 16207441003. Contact rideweave-support@syscake.it. By using them, you agree to these terms. Mandatory rights that apply to you remain unaffected.
02. License and ownership
Subject to these terms, you may install and use RideWeave on compatible devices for lawful personal or internal business purposes. The license is limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable. Syscake and its licensors retain rights in the app, website, documentation, and branding. Third-party software remains subject to its applicable licenses; consult the app’s open-source notices. Publishing protocol explanations does not grant a separate license to the private application source.
03. Prepare before riding
Configure the group, invitations, and headset while parked. Comply with applicable traffic rules and rules about device and headset use. Do not interact with the screen when doing so distracts you from riding. RideWeave is not an emergency service, safety device, or substitute for attention, signals, or an agreed fallback plan.
04. Compatibility and availability
The current app requires supported Android hardware, Android 14 or newer, Wi-Fi Aware, and suitable audio equipment and permissions. Features depend on the operating system, firmware, radio resources, surroundings, and other participants. Connections may drop, audio may pause, and reconnecting may fail. No measured range, battery duration, universal headset compatibility, or uninterrupted service is promised. iOS is in development without a guaranteed release date. Store availability is shown on the download page.
05. Your group and your information
You control invitations and whether to join or approve others. Share invitations carefully and respect other participants’ privacy and applicable laws. Do not use the service for unlawful harassment, unauthorized interception, or interference with others. You retain rights in your own communications; merely processing them through the app does not give Syscake ownership. Other participants may independently retain information they receive.
06. Local data and third parties
Diagnostics and preferences are local; you are responsible for copies you choose to retain or share. Detailed reports may be removed automatically as storage limits are reached. Deletion cannot revoke copies already sent elsewhere. Android, app stores, GitHub, email services, and selected sharing destinations operate under their own applicable terms. The Privacy Policy explains current data handling.
07. Updates and changes
We may update the software and documentation to change features, fix issues, or address platform changes. Protocol updates can require everyone in a ride to update and create a new invitation. We may discontinue features, subject to applicable law and contractual obligations. Material changes to these terms will be reflected in this page and its effective date, with additional notice where required.
08. Warranties and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the app and website are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or universally suitable operation. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory conformity rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury where applicable. To the extent permitted by law, Syscake is not responsible for indirect losses or failures caused by incompatible equipment, external services, radio conditions, or misuse. Statutory consumer remedies remain available.
09. Ending use
You may stop using the app and remove it at any time. Syscake may terminate the license for a material breach, subject to any notice or remedy required by law. Terms concerning ownership and legal responsibility continue to apply where their nature requires it.
10. Law, consumer rights, and contact
Italian law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections of their country of habitual residence where applicable. Courts in Rome have jurisdiction except where mandatory law provides otherwise, including a consumer’s right to use the courts of their place of residence. English and Italian versions describe the same terms; neither overrides mandatory rights. Questions: rideweave-support@syscake.it.
